Cookie Policy

72FM uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage) to run the Service and — with your consent — to understand how it is used.

Essential cookies

Required to keep you signed in, remember your player state and store your consent choice. These cannot be turned off.

Counting without cookies

Separately from the analytics below, 72FM counts page views and clicks using no cookie and no stored identifier: only the page, the site you came from, a screen-size class and the time. Because nothing is stored in your browser and nothing identifies you, this needs no consent and is not affected by your choice in the banner — and it can only ever tell us how many views happened, never how many people. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we do not count you at all.

Analytics

Optional, and off unless you tap "Accept all" in the banner. If you accept, 72FM stores a random id in your browser so repeat visits can be counted as one person, and records which pages and features you use. Choosing "Essential only" deletes that id and anything already queued.

One thing the banner does not control: 72FM is hosted on Lovable, and the hosting platform records a page view for every visit. It sets no cookie and no identifier — it is a server-side count of traffic, and it is where the visitor numbers we see come from. We cannot switch it off from the site's code, so it is listed here rather than implied to be covered by your choice.

Your controls

  • Change your choice at any time by clearing cookie_consent in your browser storage.
  • Block all cookies in your browser settings — some features will stop working.

In practice 72FM sets no cookies at all: everything above is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is not sent to any server. "Cookies" is used here because that is the word the law and the banner use.
