72FM uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage) to run the Service and — with your consent — to understand how it is used.
Required to keep you signed in, remember your player state and store your consent choice. These cannot be turned off.
Separately from the analytics below, 72FM counts page views and clicks using no cookie and no stored identifier: only the page, the site you came from (or the name of our own tool, or of the network our own post was on, when its link carries a source tag), a screen-size class and the time. Because nothing is stored in your browser and nothing identifies you, this needs no consent and is not affected by your choice in the banner — and it can only ever tell us how many views happened, never how many people. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we do not count you at all.
Optional, and off unless you tap "Accept all" in the banner. If you accept, 72FM stores a random id in your browser so repeat visits can be counted as one person, and records which pages and features you use. Choosing "Essential only" deletes that id and anything already queued.
One thing the banner does not control: 72FM is hosted on Lovable, and the hosting platform runs its own visitor analytics on every page, the embeddable player included. For each page view it records your browser's user agent and language, a guess at your country from your time zone, the address of the page and the page you came from, and it keeps a random session id for 30 minutes in a cookie or in your browser's storage so that the views of one visit are grouped together. It does not honour Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. It is a setting of the hosting platform rather than part of the site's own code, so it is listed here rather than implied to be covered by your choice, and it is where the visitor numbers we see in the host's dashboard come from.
The network that delivers 72fm.com (Cloudflare) also sets a short-lived security cookie,
__cf_bm, for about 30 minutes, which it uses to tell people from automated traffic.
It is not used for advertising.
cookie_consent in your browser storage.Apart from the hosting platform's session id and the delivery network's security cookie described above, 72FM's own code sets no cookies: what it stores is kept in your browser's localStorage, which is not sent to any server. "Cookies" is used here because that is the word the law and the banner use.
