The sound of the city

ABBA won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest at the Brighton Dome with "Waterloo". The Kooks and Royal Blood both formed in Brighton, and Fatboy Slim has long been based in the city. UK radio, London radio and community and college radio go further.

Listening from elsewhere

Brighton keeps UK time — GMT in winter and an hour ahead (BST) in summer.
