Belgium has three public broadcasters for three languages — VRT in Dutch, RTBF in French and BRF in German — plus one of the world's best-known dance festivals on the radio.

Three languages, one dial

Belgium's radio follows its language communities: Flemish listeners tune to VRT, French-speakers to RTBF, and the small German-speaking east to BRF. Dutch radio and French radio go further.
