The sound of the region

Hyderabad is the home of the Telugu film industry, and M. M. Keeravani's Naatu Naatu, from the Telugu film RRR, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Telugu is also a language of Carnatic music — Tyagaraja composed most of his songs in it, and Annamacharya wrote his kirtanas for Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. Telugu radio, Indian radio and Tamil radio go further.
