Pick the stations you want to drive to, from your own country or anywhere, and download the file ready to drop into the game. Only stations the game can play are offered: MP3 and Ogg streams, from the 30,000+ in the open Radio Browser directory. It is free and needs no account.
The radio in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator plays MP3 and Ogg streams. Players report that AAC stations and HLS addresses stay silent, so this page offers only MP3 and Ogg stations, and leaves out playlist addresses and https addresses on unusual ports, which players report the game failing to open.

Each station is one line inside live_streams.sii: stream_data[number]: "address|name|genre|language|bitrate|favourite", with the parts separated by a vertical bar, a language of up to three letters and a favourite of 0 or 1. The numbers have to run in order from 0, and the stream_data: line above them has to give the total. This page writes those lines for you.
The game plays MP3 and Ogg streams; players report that AAC stations and HLS addresses (ending in .m3u8) stay silent, and this page leaves those out. Stations also move their streams from time to time, so an address that worked last month can stop. Pick another station or look the station up again.
It can. Players report that refreshing the list in the game's radio menu can replace their own stations with the game's list. Keep the file you downloaded, and put it back if that happens.

Yes. Choose Add to my existing list, type the number that follows stream_data: in your current file, and paste the lines this page gives you after the last station line, before the closing brace. Then change that number to the new total, which the page shows.
