Farming Simulator radio stations

Farming Simulator 25 plays internet radio from a list in one file, streamingInternetRadios.xml. Pick the stations you want in the cab, from your own country or anywhere, and download the file ready to drop into the game's music folder. Only MP3 stations are offered, the kind players report working, from the 30,000+ in the open Radio Browser directory. It also works for Farming Simulator 22. It is free and needs no account.

How to put the file in the game

  1. Close the game. Quit Farming Simulator before you change the file.
  2. Open the music folder. In Documents, go to My Games, then FarmingSimulator2025, then music. For Farming Simulator 22 the folder is FarmingSimulator2022 instead. If there is no music folder, start the game once and quit.
  3. Keep the old list. If a streamingInternetRadios.xml is already there, rename it to streamingInternetRadios-old.xml, so you can go back to it.
  4. Put the new file in. Move the streamingInternetRadios.xml you downloaded here into the music folder. The name has to stay exactly streamingInternetRadios.xml.
  5. Tune in. Start the game, get in a vehicle and turn the radio on; your stations are among its channels. If the game asks whether to allow content from the internet, allow it. The names shown are the ones the stations send with their streams.

Which stations the game can play

Players' working examples for Farming Simulator are MP3 streams and links to .m3u or .pls playlists. Whether AAC streams play is not settled, so this page offers MP3 stations only, and leaves out HLS addresses.

What the file looks like

A streamingInternetRadios.xml with three stations. Each station is one streamingInternetRadio line with its stream address; the game takes the name from the stream, so the name is only a comment above the line.

Where is streamingInternetRadios.xml?

In the game's music folder in your documents, not where the game is installed: Documents, then My Games, then FarmingSimulator2025, then music. Farming Simulator 22 uses the same file in its FarmingSimulator2022 folder.

How do I add a radio station to Farming Simulator 25 by hand?

Open streamingInternetRadios.xml in a text editor and add one line per station inside the streamingInternetRadios element: <streamingInternetRadio href="the stream address" />. There is no name to fill in; the game shows the name the station sends with its stream. This page writes the lines for you.

Which stations work in Farming Simulator?

It is free and needs no account. 72FM is not connected with GIANTS Software, the maker of Farming Simulator. The stations belong to their broadcasters, and the addresses are the ones the open Radio Browser directory lists for them.
